Application process

 If you would like to adopt a listed animal:

1. You must be able to pick the animal up at Minerva's Den. We DO NOT ship our rescues.

2. You must allow Minerva's Den to perform a home check if requested.

3. You must sign an adoption contract.  A copy of the contract can be provided upon request along with an application.

4.  There is a  nonrefundable adoption fee which varies by animal. This fee is not a profit, but goes directly to the care of the other rescues.

5. All adoptable rescues are placed as personal companions. Minerva's Den does not make animals available for breeding, research and other similar activities not consistent with keeping the animal as a personal companion. Animals may be adopted out to responsible educational and display facilities. You must be 18 and over  to adopt.

This is a courtesy listing for the owner. Please send inquires to Minerva's Den and they will be forwarded. Info:She is an albino Mini Rex, approaching 3 years old and living in East Canton. She was purchased in November 2005 from Pet Supplies Plus in Massillon and has not been spayed/neutered. (To be honest, she's never been to the vet because of the cost. We didn't know what we were getting outselves into when we impulse-bought her.) She will bring with her to her new home: a cage with tray liner, hay manger, food bowl, water bottle, a harness leash, toys and some food.
